When that call for help came in, David was always ready to lend a helping hand. As he boarded the plane, his heart started pounding and he would ask what the call is this time.
David Eric Spencer Brooks, 36, of Seattle, Washington was killed in the line of duty on January 8, 1996. He was the piloting an air-ambulance carrying a critically ill patient from Our Lady of Lourdes Health Center in Pasco, to Spokane. The plane veered off course and crashed killing all aboard except co-worker Harold Livingston, Jr. David was co-owner of the plane and was very safety-conscious when it came to flying.
Besides working for Aero Med LLC, located in Seattle, Washington, David served his country as a Marine. He flew Blackhawk helicopters and various fixed-wing aircraft. After retiring from the Marine Corps, he served as a medical pilot.
David loved flying, and he loved his work in the medical field flying to help others.
